What is Crewed Sail Rental?

🛥️ Delivery and Responsibilities

In captained boat rental (sailboat charter), the sailboat is delivered to the customer with full fuel and full water. The person renting the sailboat is responsible for supplying their own provisions, cleaning materials, and beverages. If the sailboat docks outside of its home marina, those fees are also the responsibility of the renter. Any water needed during the trip is also at the renter’s expense.

👨‍✈️ Captain's Duties

In captained sailboat charters, the captain is responsible for the operation and handling of the boat, its maneuvers, and safely mooring at docks or buoys. If requested, the captain can provide basic sailboat training. The captain is not responsible for cooking or dishwashing. The renter is responsible for the captain’s meals.
