What is a Flotilla?
In addition to training, information sharing is also carried out through the flotilla. The richness created by different ideas and talents brings great happiness to everyone.
A flotilla is a group trip involving two or more boats. When the number of boats exceeds 6-7, the available resources start to become limited.
Although boats may act independently from time to time within a certain program and under the knowledge of the lead boat captain, they come together again at the end of the day.
The daily program is arranged by collecting participants' requests and taking into account what happened the previous day. Boat captains are informed about the destinations, weather conditions, currents, depths, mooring, and accommodation spots.
The lead boat captain stays in constant contact with other boats via VHF or phone. If needed, they assist the captains and boats.
