General Information

New Town 🏙️

This area is known for its modern buildings and shopping centers. Many churches and mosques can be visited here. The coastline is especially pleasant for long walks.

Elli Beach 🏖️

It appears as you continue along the “Sandy Point”. This is one of the most famous beaches of Rhodes.

Colossus of Rhodes

This statue, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, stood 30 meters tall and took 12 years to build. Ships entering Mandraki Harbor once passed between its legs. However, it was destroyed by an earthquake and stood for only 50 years.

Beaches of Rhodes

Rhodes Island is generally famous for its beaches. You can swim all around the island. Elli Beach and Ixia Beach, both close to the city center, are Blue Flag beaches. The island also has many diving centers, making it attractive for water sports enthusiasts.

Valley of the Butterflies 🦋

Faliraki Area

One of the most enjoyable ways to reach the castle is by riding a donkey. The view that awaits you at the top makes the experience even more special. 🐴
